Stellar Sequence

The color offset and scatter around the stellar sequence on a color-color diagram are computed as part of the validation tests.  Only a few plots are shown in the data release paper, but the plots for all the fields are available below.  In each field, the top row shows the color offset and bottom row shows the color scatter.  Most fields have good colors, but a small fraction of the entire release area suffers from the PSF modeling problem (see the data release paper for details).  VVDS is the prime example of this.  Please be sure not to use the problematic patches in your work.  The patch_qa table in the database allows you to identify those bad patches easily (see also FAQ).
